Convenient location near Old Town, beautiful surroundings, comfortable rooms, good breakfast, access to gym and pool at InterContinental.

All was good.

We stayed at a hotel near Lugu Lake. This hotel is situated near the morning markets and although it's close to the ancient town, it's still quiet. the rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, with underfloor heating in the bathroom area, which was a nice touch. the service was friendly and helpful too, they even brought a cake to the room on my birthday. There was also a Bluetooth Bose Soundsystem, an iPad with hotel and local information, and high-speed internet.

The breakfast was not up to the mark and could have been better.

The hotel has great staff who are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is also very good, with a good selection of Chinese and Western foods available. The location is perfect, with easy access to both the city and the old town.

Everything is what I need and want.

The rooms offered ample space and were quite modern, including nice bathroom facilities. The location was very convenient, being close to the heart of the old town. the breakfast spread was decent, offering a decent variety of options for travelers.

The service overall left much to be desired. The staff were not particularly hospitable and seemed uninterested in the needs and requests of guests.

This boutique hotel exceeded my expectations with its luxurious amenities. the spacious room had a stunning design with attention to detail, and the local bathroom amenities were organic and natural. the large bathtub against a beautiful large window overlooking the mountain was a fantastic touch. I also enjoyed the Bluetooth Bose Soundsystem and the Nespresso machine. the hotel's location at the entrance to Ancient Town made it the perfect base to explore the area.

The only minor negative aspect was the language barrier at reception.
